Two men have been arrested after heroin with an estimated street value of £100,000 was discovered on the outskirts of Dundee.
Officers from Police Scotland’s Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism Unit recovered the drugs during a vehicle stop on Thursday.
A 45-year-old and 26-year-old are due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday.
Detective Chief Inspector Colin Gall said: “In a space of eight days, the OCCTU North, working closely with our colleagues in Tayside Division, has seized Class A drugs in Dundee with an estimated street value of £325,000.
“This highlights our determination to disrupt those serious and organised crime groups whose only intention is to profit on the misery of others.
“At the same time, we need the public’s help to provide us with the information that can assist in disrupting the activities of drugs dealers. Tell us if drugs are being dealt where you live.
“The information you have can help us to take action against those very individuals who are hurting our communities.”
Anyone with information in respect of drug dealing or drugs issues in their area, or in relation to serious and organised crime should contact Police Scotland on 101, or speak to any officer.
