Tom Murray has been appointed as an associate director of Montrose FC.
Mr Murray, a certified chartered accountant in Montrose for 20 years, will take a particular interest in the club’s finances.
He said, “My company has sponsored the club for a number of years.
“Last year and again this year we are sponsoring the team strips.”
He added, “When you have lived in a community for as long as I have you want to put something back into it.
“I am looking forward to assisting with the financial running of the club.”
