A Dundee man who appeared in court wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the legend “WASTED. IT’S WHAT WEEKENDS ARE FOR” has had his decision-making questioned by a sheriff.
Paul Alexander Mackay (22), Fountainbleau Drive, had sentence deferred until February 15 next year.
He previously admitted that, on May 14 at Castle Street, Dundee, he wilfully damaged property, kicking a TV, causing the screen to crack.
The court heard he had argued with his girlfriend and began damaging property.
Sheriff Alistair Duff told Mackay he seemed to have an issue with “sensible decision making.”
He drew to his attention the lack of wisdom in wearing the T-shirt for his court appearance.
Solicitor Anika Jethwa said she had drawn this matter to his attention and he had said it was all he had to wear.
