Craig Conway may be on his way to Middlesbrough

Craig Conway would appear to have played his last game for United.

English Championship side Middlesbrough contacted the Tannadice club on Saturday night to inform them an offer for the player was coming.

“Middlesbrough have now sent us an email saying they are going to make a bid but as we stand here on Sunday evening they have not made a bid,” confirmed Houston.

“Craig is an honest lad and if it comes off for him, then great for him, but we have still not seen the colour of their money yet.

“If they are sending out emails on a Saturday night then I suppose a bid is imminent.”
