The crash occurred shortly after 3pm two miles south of the village, at the junction with Guay. The road has been closed while ambulance crews work at the scene and BEAR Scotland are putting diversions in place. A spokesman for Police Scotland said there were long delays in the area and he expected the road to remain closed for at least an hour. The Scottish Ambulance Service said the motorcyclist, a man believed to be in his 40s, suffered a possible leg injury. He was said to be conscious and breathing and his injuries are not thought to be life threatening. A trauma team was dispatched from Ninewells hospital to help treat the casualty.
