A ROBBIE Williams superfan is down to the final stages of a competition to meet her hero in Tallinn next month.
Kelly Doogan, 27, from Tealing, has followed the singer since she was 12 and entered the contest, submitting a one-minute video, explaining how the former Take That star’s music has influenced her life.
To be in with a chance of meeting Robbie in the flesh other fans must vote for her video.
“I’ve been a fan ever since he went solo,” Kelly said.
“In my video I said when I was younger after school and college I wasn’t sure what to do but his Escapology album inspired me to go travelling.
“Two singles were about LA and Las Vegas and that’s where I went first.”
Kelly spent 11 weeks travelling, working in South Carolina first before taking a tour round California.
Now home from her travels, Kelly works as a dog walker and runs a retirement home for horses at her home, Ranch Doogan.
She said Escapology was the soundtrack to her life for a while and she is still a massive fan.
“I have a cardboard cut-out of him in my room,” she said.
Kelly has already seen Robbie three times this year, twice in Scotland and once at Wembley where she camped out all night to get to the front.
She is also flying to Hanover this weekend for another gig but she said nothing would compare to coming face to face with her idol.
“It would mean so much if I met him,” she said.
Kelly is in eleventh place but needs to be in the top five to be guaranteed an audience with Robbie at the Estonian gig.
