Thieves steal diesel from parked lorry as driver sleeps

Police are investigating the theft of 50 litres of diesel from a Reed Boardall HGV lorry that was parked in a layby off the A90 at Invergowrie.
The fuel was stolen some time between 3pm on Friday and 2am on Saturday while the lorry driver was asleep in his cab.
This layby is a popular rest spot, and officers are appealing for any drivers who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously to call them on 101.
Tayside division are also appealing for information about the theft of a Musicman Silhouette Special guitar which had been accidentally left outside a house in Troon Gardens between 2.30 and 8.30am on Sunday.
The guitar is glossy black with a white rim. It has a rosewood neck, natural coloured headstock, with a cream and black bridge pick up.
The saddles in the strings have black graphite and, at the jack socket of the guitar, there is a midi system which is very rare. It was inside a black carry case containing contains leads, music and a red and blue guitar strap.
