An Arbroath medical diagnostics distributor of instruments and consumables for the medical and research markets has bought a London-based instrument and reagent manufacturing company.
Point Of Care Testing Ltd, which also provides services to the National Independent Bowel Cancer Screening Programme, has acquired 100% of the shares of Analox Instruments Ltd.
Ian Cowie, the chief executive of POCT, said: “The range of products supplied by Analox is complementary to the POCT product portfolio and gives the company access to a global market, resulting in a strengthened operational structure.”
