Dundee will be without star striker Greg Stewart at the weekend – even if he’s fit to play.
The 14-goal man is suspended for the visit of Partick Thistle to Dens Park.
The booking Stewart picked up in the recent 2-1 win against St Mirren was his sixth of the season, and has therefore triggered a one match ban.
It may prove that the enforced lay-off has come at a good time, as the former Cowdenbeath forward is an injury doubt for the Thistle match in any case.
He was withdrawn in the first half of the Scottish Cup defeat to Celtic after taking a blow to the thigh.
Another possible absentee is fellow striker, Luka Tankulic, who also picked up a knock on Saturday.
