OK, who wants to play on the up-and-coming stage at Jam in the Park, the festival taking place at Camperdown Park in October?
Now that the licence has been granted, the organisers have been working furiously to put together their line-up in the short time between now and the autumn holiday.
Their plans are for two big tents hosting some of the UK’s top bands, along with a young talent stage allowing some of the best young bands in Courier Country and beyond a chance to play in front of a massive crowd over the weekend of October 5 and 6.
They are now asking all young original acts to register their interest in taking part.
Initially, all you have to do is email rocktalk@thecourier.co.uk by the deadline of Friday, July 19, including contact telephone numbers, a brief biography, good quality hi-resolution photograph and a link to your music on soudcloud, facebook or youtube.
The successful bands will be chosen by a panel of local experts and those selected will be contacted in mid August.
