Police have appealed once more for witnesses to a sex attack on a teenage girl that took place more than a week ago in Stanley.
Police are still trying to track down a man who sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl who had been out walking her dogs in the Perthshire village on the evening of Sunday June 23.
The girl was left extremely distressed but did not require medical attention. Police delivered around 900 appeal letters to householders in Stanley last week, after politicians and residents expressed shock at the incident.
Police Scotland Detective Inspector Ally Waghorn, who is leading the inquiry into the attack, previously said there had been a “positive response” to the letter drop.
The assailant is described as being 6ft tall. He was wearing a light-blue hooded top at the time of the incident.
Anyone with information on the attack is asked to call police on 101 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
