Dundee United have received a huge Hampden boost with the news that captain Paul Paton will be fit to face Hibs. The fear – and even expectation – was that Paton would miss out because of a knee injury. However, Tangerines manager Mixu Paatelainen has confirmed that the key midfielder will be in his line-up. Paatelainen said: “Paul is available. “He has a problem with his knee but he has declared himself fit and available.” See full story in tomorrow’s The Courier.
