Police hunt man after teenage girl approached in Cardenden

Police are trying to track down a man who approached a teenage girl in Cardenden.
According to police, the man made an inappropriate remark to the girl, causing her to be alarmed. The incident happened on Craigside Road at about 9pm on Saturday.
Police have appealed for anyone in the area, or who has any information about the incident, to get in touch.
The man has been described as being slim, aged 21-40 and with shaved hair. He had a deep voice and was wearing a shell type jacket, which was white on the bottom half and sleeves and grey on the top. He was also wearing light blue jeans
Sergeant Andy Howie said: “Incidents of this type are rare but I would appeal to members of the public to get in touch should they have any information.
