Raith Rovers are looking for a cash as well as points windfall from Saturday’s Fife derby clash with Dunfermline.
The first division leaders are optimistic the fixture will draw a bumper crowd as they look to strengthen their grip on top spot at the expense of second placed Pars.
“One of the derbies here last season drew an attendance of 6200 and with both teams having taken six points out of six so far we’re anticipating topping that figure this weekend,” Stark’s Park boss John McGlynn said.
“There’s a real feelgood factor in both camps at the moment and along with Dunfermline we’re viewing this game as an opportunity to grab a lead, albeit at what is a very early stage of the season.”
Raith have Iain Davidson available for the derby after he completed his two-match suspension.
