Montrose Museum’s Hay Collection exhibition to roll back the years
ByRob McLaren
The latest crop of Kenneth Hay photographs will be on display in Montrose Museum on Friday.
The Hay Collection reflects the social history of Montrose in the late 20th Century, illustrating events, local people, businesses, weddings, sports, the harbour and Ferryden, among others.
Angus Archives volunteers have been very busy and scanned hundreds of negatives from the collection.
People are encouraged to take a stroll down memory lane and help staff identify more faces from the past.
The drop-in day runs from 10.30am to 4pm. The event is free.
