A gritter driver who died in a tragic early-morning accident near Forfar on Wednesday has been named by police. David Keith, who was 29 and from Dundee, suffered fatal injuries in the accident on the A90 southbound near Bogindollo Farm at 6.25am. A police spokesman said: “Mr Keith’s family are understandably upset by their sudden loss and have said that he will be greatly missed.” Mr Keith was a driver with roads maintenance firm BEAR Scotland. As with all sudden deaths a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal. Any witnesses to the accident are asked to phone 101.
