Vintage vehicle enthusiasts from around Europe will descend on Glamis today as one of the most remarkable collections in Scotland goes under the hammer.
The premises of the Strathmore Vintage Vehicle Club will host the auction of the cars amassed over the lifetime of William Cunningham who was known to his friends as Freddie.
Among the items on sale is the only 1939 McEvoy Steyr aluminium drophead coupe in existence, which is expected to fetch at least £16,000.
Lesley Munro, of the Strathmore Vintage Vehicle Club, said the interest in the event had already been “amazing.”
She added, “We really hope this can help raise the profile of the club.”
