Further delay for Petr Adamik fatal accident inquiry

A fatal accident inquiry into how a migrant worker was burned alive in an Angus caravan has been postponed.
The probe into the events that led to the death of 28-year-old Petr Adamik had been due to start at Arbroath Sheriff Court but no further progress is now expected until next month.
Sheriff Fiona Tait had travelled to the county to deal with the preliminary hearing, which is due to call again on April 16.
Czech national Mr Adamik died at Birkhill Farm, near Arbroath, in 2007, after the caravan he was living in caught fire.
The incident led to regulations for employers providing accommodation for migrant workers being tightened across the UK.
