A Perth mother is to climb Ben Nevis as a way of saying thank you to the team who looked after her baby daughter when she was in hospital.
Stephane Reid, 31, is to scale the peak with a couple of friends on June 29. She will be raising money for the neonatal unit at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
During the birth of her daughter on December 14 Stephane experienced a lot of complications and she is grateful for the care of the staff in the special care baby unit.
“If it wasn’t for the staff the nurses and doctors Maisie wouldn’t have survived,” said Stephane.
“I wanted to do something for their hard work and dedication.”
Stephane has climbed Ben Nevis before and this time will be accompanied by friends Emma Campbell and Sara Baillie. Emma will be rasing money for the neonatal unit while Sara will be collecting for the MS Society.
