The impasse in the proposed investment deal between Dundee and Texan firm Keyes Capital has seen an angry torrent of complaints flooding into the club.
The target of that ire has been directed at the two remaining directors on the board, Fraser MacDonald and Dave Forbes.
The majority of the fans and shareholders contacting Dens are pointing the finger of blame at the duo for perceived delaying tactics in holding up the American cash input which would see an initial £650,000 being added to the club’s coffers.
With no conclusion in sight to the hiatus, manager John Brown’s squad rebuilding has had to be put on hold.
Meanwhile, the club have been bombarded by emails, phone calls and letters about the issue with many fans saying they will not be renewing their season tickets or coming back to Dens until Forbes and MacDonald have left the club.
Courier Sport understands that corporate clients have also threatened to withdraw their custom in protest.
