Lady, The UK’s oldest mating osprey, has inspired a song that was performed at the Loch of the Lowes near Dunkeld, where the bird has nested.
Fiona Kennedy penned Fly Lady, Fly, written after she visited the Loch of the Lowes to see the record-breaking 28-year-old osprey.
Fiona, daughter of the late Calum Kennedy, performed the song along with 13-year-old Aviemore schoolboy Ruairidh McDonald.

The pair are visiting various venues as part of their Wee Osprey Tour, when they will also spread the word about the work of charities who protect the ospreys.
On the Kist and Kist Celtica website, Fiona said: “I think it’s brilliant that this great bird Lady has defied all the odds and is still going strong.
“She definitely deserves her own bird song. We want to celebrate this and all ospreys, as well as our great natural landscape so vital for their well-being.”
Despite her advancing years, Lady returned to the Dunkeld reserve in March for a 23rd year.
