A man is expected to appear in court later today in connection with the death of Fife woman Carol-Anne Taggart.
Mrs Taggart’s body was found at Pettycur Bay Caravan Park in Kinghorn three weeks after she went missing.
Police Scotland confirmed her death is being treated as “suspicious” and that a murder investigation is under way.
A Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service spokesman confirmed that Ross Taggart, 30, will attend a private hearing at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.
Mrs Taggart, a childminder, was last seen in Dunfermline on December 22 and a police investigation was launched after she did not contact family and friends during the festive period.
The 54-year-old’s body was discovered late on Monday and Mrs Taggart was positively identified following a post-mortem carried out on Tuesday.
