Police are investigating a serious sexual assault on a 27-year-old woman in Cupar.
Officers want to speak to anyone who was in the Duffus Park area between 7pm and 10pm on Sunday.
Detective Inspector Graham Fenton, who is leading the enquiry, said: “The Duffus Park is a popular area for people walking their dogs and is regularly frequented by young drivers who use the car park as a meeting point.
“Such instances in the local area are extremely rare, however, in response there will be increased Police presence in the vicinity. I would urge anyone who was in the area on Sunday night to contact the Police by calling 101 or through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
