The trial of a former golfing star has been delayed.
Former Scottish strokeplay champion David Downie is accused of breaking a court bail condition not to approach or contact his partner by calling her on the phone and attending at her home.
The 40-year-old, from Arthur Place, Springfield, Fife, denies being at her house on Saturday, February 13, just 12 days after bail conditions were imposed.
Perth Sheriff Court issued a treatment order to have Downie further assessed by psychiatrists.
The court had previously heard that he suffered health difficulties and was keen to seek professional help.
His trial was scheduled for June 6 with an intermediate hearing on May 9.
