The lights went out at the Scottish Water pumping station, Trades Lane, Candle Lane, Allan Street and surrounding areas at just before 7pm. A spokeswoman for Scottish and Southern Energy said: “We restored power to 304 (homes) at 7.26pm and the remaining 66 were restored at 7.40pm.”
