Perth teenager Jamie Scott named as victim of M90 crash

A teenager who died in an accident on the M90 near Perth on Monday night has been named by police.
Jamie Scott, who was 19 and lived in Birnam Crescent, Perth, was one of three teenagers who were in a black Ford Fiesta which left the carriageway and crashed down an embankment.
Jamie died and the other occupants a 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old woman from the Perth area suffered serious injuries and were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, where they are both said to be in a serious, but stable, condition.
The eastbound carriageway of the M90 between Broxden and Craigend junction was closed while investigators carried out enquiries but reopened on Tuesday morning.
Any witnesses to the accident, which happened at around 10.45pm, are being asked to contact police on 101.
