A man was shoved out of his Perth flat after he attacked his wife and teenage stepdaughter, a court has heard.
Rustams Sergejevs was forced to leave his home in Dunkeld Road after his Hogamanay celebrations descended into a drunken fracas.
At a special custody sitting on Saturday morning, Perth Sheriff Court heard the 33-year-old had returned home in the early hours after taking in the New Year with his wife and her 18-year-old daughter.
During an alcohol-fuelled row, Sergejevs slapped his wife across the face and then did the same to his stepdaughter.
Fiscal Stuart Richardson said the two women then pushed Sergejevs out of the flat. Outside, he kicked and punched the front door, smashing a wooden panel.
Sergejevs admitted the two assaults and causing damage to the property.
Sheriff William Wood deferred sentence until February 4.
