Father Christmas brings festive cheer to Dunkeld and Birnam on Santa Day

Dunkeld and Birnam were filled to bursting with Christmas spirit as the community celebrated the 25th anniversary Santa Day on Saturday.

Father Christmas and his reindeer arrived to meet and greet kids, big and small, many of them already in costume for the Santa Day Fancy Dress Race.

While he accepted letters from excited youngsters, a market and toy sale provided the opportunity to pick up some presents, and Perthsire Brass provided musical entertainment for the crowds.

Children were also treated to a storytelling session, face painting and a puppet show.
