Police investigate meat theft from Angus butcher shop

Police in Angus are investigating after a quantity of meat was stolen from a butcher shop.
Turkey, steak, gammon, lamb, chicken, and bacon were amongst the items taken from a refrigeration unit at the rear of Bel’s Butchers shop in High Street in Edzell between 7pm on Sunday and 6am on Monday.
Anyone who has information that could assist police with their enquiries is being urged to contact officers on 101.
