An Angus man who flashed his private parts at two women and forced one of their heads towards his crotch has been placed on the sex offenders register.
George King (42), of Montrose Street, Brechin, appeared from custody at Forfar Sheriff Court on Tuesday, when he admitted the offences which took place on December 14 last year.
King will have to wait until February 19 for sentencing, when the period of time he will spend on the register will also be determined.
The court heard how King had been released from prison on the day of the offence and had been at the Victoria Bar on Montrose Street, Brechin, with friends.
Depute fiscal Jill Drummond said the accused was drunk and had approached two women one aged 20 and the other 27 who were smoking outside.
King asked the women if they knew who he was before bursting into a fit of giggles and revealing his private parts. He then grabbed the complainer’s hair at the back of her head and pushed it down level with his chest.
The fiscal added: “The police witnesses had arrived. At that moment the accused stumbled against the wall trying to do himself up.”
King’s defence agent Bob Bruce said his client had viewed the whole event as “one big laugh”.
Mr Bruce said: “He absolutely and completely accepts that his behaviour was totally out of order. His friends took him out and he drank far too much.
“He is laughing as he does this and from his point of view it is one big laugh. It was a drunken jamboree he has taken too far.”
Sheriff Kevin Veal deferred sentence on King.
