Police have confirmed that two men have been charged with attempting to break-in to a car in the Charleston Drive area of Dundee on Monday evening.
Officers revealed that two men aged 26 and 29 appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday in relation to the incident.
In light of the attempted break-in, a police spokesman urged drivers across the city to remain on their toes. The spokesman said: “Officers would like to take this opportunity to remind drivers to take every possible precaution to deter thieves. Items of value and personal belongings should never be left within an unattended vehicle and they should certainly never be left in open view. Doors should be locked and, windows closed.”
