Police descended on a Dundee multi after a man allegedly attacked his partner with a screwdriver. Nearly a dozen police officers swooped on the Whorterbank block after the alleged attack on Tuesday. At Dundee Sheriff Court yesterday, David Boyd, 48, of Ancrum Court, Whorterbank, denied one charge of domestic assault. Boyd is charged with assaulting partner Lily McClukas by striking her on the body with a screwdriver to her injury. The incident allegedly took place at Boyd’s home. Boyd appeared from custody for Thursday’s hearing.
