ByThe Courier Reporter
A 41-year-old man has been remanded in custody following a second court appearance on a Montrose murder bid charge.
Paul William Halliday made a private appearance from custody at Forfar Sheriff Court on a petition alleging assault to severe injury and attempted murder.
Halliday, from Montrose, made no plea or declaration and was fully committed, with a date for his next court appearance yet to be determined.
His arrest followed an incident on November 9, which led to a 26-year-old male being taken to hospital with a neck injury.
