Brechin PC Billy Rattray tweeted details of the incident this morning which involved a fox-coloured or ginger Staffordshire bull terrier. The attack happened on Saturday around 3pm when a man was out walking near the GlaxoSmithKline plant in Montrose. Police today confirmed he was attacked by a dog which was running loose with no sign of its owner. It is understood the man’s injuries were not serious. However, he did require medical treatment.
