Dundee Stars’ optimistic coach Jeff Hutchins is looking to continue the Tayside club’s climb off the foot of the Elite League table.
Hutchins was still on a high yesterday following the club’s shock 4-3 overtime victory at third-placed Nottingham Panthers on Sunday.
That result, he hopes, will act as a springboard. And two points on Saturday against fellow strugglers Edinburgh Capitals would see the Murrayfield men slip below Stars and into bottom spot.
Hutchins, a former Capitals star, said: “Sunday was a big result for us. The boys showed great character at Nottingham.
“Our historians say it the first win by a Dundee side in Nottingham since 1987 that’s something to celebrate.
