Another Dundee hospital ward has been closed to new patients after several cases of vomiting and diarrhoea thought to be caused by the winter vomiting bug norovirus.
Ward 7 at Royal Victoria Hospital, a rehabilitation assessment ward, has been closed to new patients as a precaution in a bid to prevent the spread of the virus.
NHS Tayside has appealed to people feeling unwell or experiencing vomiting and diarrhoea not to visit friends and family in hospital.
They are asked to stay away until at least 48 hours after symptoms stop.
