Victim of A9 accident named as North Carolina visitor Laura Drewyor

The victim of a fatal crash on the A9 on Sunday has been named as American woman Laura Drewyor.
The two-vehicle crash happened at 4.40pm around a mile south of Pitlochry.
Ms Drewyor, who was 52, and from North Carolina, was driving a silver Kia Sedona which was involved in a collision with a dark Volkswagen Golf.
Ms Drewyor was trapped in the wreckage. After being freed and assessed at the roadside, she was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, where it was later confirmed that she had died.
A 48-year-old woman who was a passenger in the Kia suffered minor injuries and was released from hospital after treatment.
The 32-year-old man who was driving the VW Golf suffered minor injuries, as did his 28-year-old and 25-year-old male passengers. All three were treated at hospital and later released.
It is understood Ms Drewyor was visiting as a tourist.
Police say that, as with all sudden deaths, a report is being submitted to the procurator fiscal. They are also appealing for witnesses to contact them.
