The emergency services have taken part in a toxic chemicals training day.
Tayside Fire and Rescue, Tayside Police, the Scottish Ambulance Service and the Scottish Police Services Authority all took part in a joint exercise at Tayside Fire and Rescue’s Fire Training Centre in Perth on Wednesday.
It saw officers and staff from all the participating agencies working closely together to test, develop and enhance their abilities in dealing with incidents involving toxic chemicals.
“All emergency services and supporting organisations work closely together to develop and enhance their abilities to deal with a major incident,” said a spokesman.
“Events such as this give us all an ideal opportunity to exercise our plans and accordingly improve our preparedness for such incidents if and when they happen.”
Some 90 officers and staff took part, backed by officer training corps members and special constables.
