Quiz night raises funds in tribute to Monifieth dad Christopher Richardson

Family, friends and former colleagues gathered at a fund-raising quiz night to celebrate the life of a Monifieth man who died of stomach cancer aged just 41.
The father of three had been diagnosed with the condition less than a year before his death, and on Tuesday night members of the community turned out in force to raise funds in memory of the former Michelin employee.
Organised by staff at the Ashludie Pharmacy in Monifieth, where his widow Elspeth works as a dispensing technician, those behind the night hoped the amount of money raised would match the large turnout.
Lauren Alexander, one of those behind the quiz, said, “His wife works at the pharmacy with us and we thought that this would be a good way to raise some money.
“We won’t know until we’ve counted all of the cash but we’re hoping to raise around £1000.”
