Fundraisers have collected over £40,000 for a cancer charity after running and walking through the night at the Dundee Relay For Life.
Hundreds of people gathered at Caird Park Stadium to take part in the annual event, a 24-hour challenge to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Some 18 teams featuring 34 cancer survivors took part in an inspirational gathering that saw £41,506 raised for the charity.
Participating teams completed laps of the circuit throughout Saturday night and Sunday morning, finishing around lunchtime.
A candle of hope ceremony preceded the event, a tribute to those who affected by the disease.
Christina Gibson, a committee member from the Dundee Relay For Life team, said: “They are the reason that we are here and that is why we have the determination to keep doing this.
“The money we raise here goes to treat all cancers and it’s not like Race For Life in which only women can take part.”
