BBC Scotland newsreader Catriona Shearer donned pyjamas to lead Aberlour’s Midnight Sleepwalk at the weekend.
Fundraisers set off from Deep Sea World in North Queensferry on Saturday night on a five-mile hike across the Forth Road Bridge and back in aid of the charity, which helps vulnerable children and their families.
Miss Shearer, who is an ambassador for the charity, said: “Aberlour is such a great cause and does fantastic work across its many services, from Elgin in the north to Stranraer in the south. The children and families rely on us.”
After the event, the weary walkers enjoyed a well earned hot breakfast.
Aisling Thornton of Deep Sea World said the visitor attraction was delighted to support the event.
“Aberlour provides invaluable help for literally thousands of children and their families and everyone here at the aquarium is supporting the Sleepwalk.”
