Dundee FC Team photocall. Pictured, Stephen O'Donnell. Dundee midfielder Stephen O”Donnell will be badly missed by the Dark Blues when they travel to Falkirk. That is the opinion of Dens boss Barry Smith, who watched on from the dugout on Saturday as O”Donnell was red-carded against Raith Rovers. The ordering-off means he will be in the stand when Dundee face the Bairns away and Smith says his absence will be felt. “Stephen is someone you can rely on and I think he puts an awful lot of work in that some people maybe don”t see,” said Smith. “But I know the lads appreciate him very much and I certainly do for what he does for the team as a whole. “So it is a pity we will be without him at Falkirk but it is just something we will have to deal with.” Dundee are hoping defenders Rhys Weston and Matt Lockwood will both be fit to face Falkirk as they bid to build on their win at Stark”s Park. Weston has been nursing a groin injury while Lockwood went off at half-time against Rovers suffering from a calf knock.
