Bayne’s back but McCluskey is out of Dundee FC plans

Just as one Dundee player returned to training, another one dropped out.
The good news was striker Graham Bayne taking part and completing a session for the first time in over a fortnight.
But the bad news was the reoccurrence of winger Jamie McCluskey’s groin problem.
Dens Park boss Barry Smith reported: “Bayney trained today.
“It was his first session in a couple of weeks and it was good to see him come through it.
“But wee Jinky pulled up. It’s the groin which was troubling him last week.
“He’s maybe come back a wee bit too early but the good thing is they all want to play. Maybe he’s just been a bit too eager and another day would have been better.
“But you’d rather they all want to get back involved, than not.”
Meanwhile, Jake Hyde has already been counted out for the resumption of the league campaign against Ross County on Saturday.
Smith said: “With Jake it’s just a case of rest at the moment. He’ll definitely not play at the weekend.”
