KT Tunstall will play an intimate gig in front of 50 people at Drouthy Neebors in Dundee.
The Brit Award and Ivor Novello winner, who has sold millions of albums, will perform on Friday at the Perth Road venue.
The gig is one of several on a low-key tour which she revealed on her website on Wednesday to promote her new album Tiger Suit.
The St Andrews-born singer, whose mother is Chinese, said, “Let them jungle drums roll, I am pleased to announce that my album is called Tiger Suit.
“It’s based on a recurring dream… and it was only after I discovered it was the Chinese Year of the Tiger.”
KT, a former Dundee High School pupil who used to earn a living busking in Dundee and St Andrews, has formed a new band including ex-Ash guitarist Charlotte Hatherley.
On her website KT draws a map of Scotland, pencilling in her gigs across the country and asking fans to guess what she is hinting at.
Her tour of tiny venues also includes Perth’s Twa Tams and the Inn At Lathones near St Andrews.
With the exception of the latter gig, all shows are free and admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
