Raith Rovers strengthen squad with addition of Pat Clarke

Raith Rovers boss John McGlynn has made another addition to his squad for next season with the signing of Pat Clarke.
The striker spent the latter part of the campaign just ended on loan at Stark’s Park from Fife rivals Dunfermline.
His deal at East End Park has now expired but Pars boss Jim Jefferies had left the door open for the 27-year-old to return in pre-season in a bid to impress.
However, Clarke has now opted for the security of a new deal at Rovers.
McGlynn, who also snapped up former Hearts full-back Jason Thomson at the end of last week, said: “Pat did very well for us in the run to the end of the season.
“If he could take that form into next season, we will have signed not only a goalscorer but a good team member both on and off the park.”
Clarke, who can also count Cowdenbeath, Clyde and Dundee among his former teams, said: “I am delighted to sign for Raith Rovers Football Club and can’t wait for next season to begin.
“With the clubs who will be in the league, it promises to be an exciting campaign.”
