Jim Duffy looking forward to locking horns with old pupil Lee Wilkie

Former Dundee boss Jim Duffy believes Lee Wilkie can be a big success at Montrose but is determined he will have the last laugh when they line up in opposite dug-outs.
Wilkie was appointed as Stuart Garden’s right-hand man at Links Park earlier this week.
Duffy worked closely with the ex-Scotland centre-half during his time with the Dark Blues, and he reckons he has the right credentials to succeed in management.
But Duffy, who is boss at Montrose’s Division Three rivals Clyde, has vowed to keep him in his place when the new campaign begins.
He said: ”I am absolutely delighted for big Lee. It was devastating for him to have to hang up his boots when he was still in his prime a couple of years ago.
”But this is a great opportunity for him and I’m sure he’ll make a big impression up at Montrose. At 32, Lee is still young but hopefully he will learn a lot more in defeat when they play Clyde next season.”
He added: ”Lee went through so much injury hell I felt for him a lot so he deserves this break in management.”
