She has also prior experience of working at Linlithgow Palace last May she played Margaret Tudor at the “Party at the Palace 1503” event.
She said, “It’s great to be back entertaining visitors at Linlithgow Palace at another major historical event and to be part of a talented group of performers who work so well together and who complement one another.”
Among those who were in the crowd for Angela’s performance at the Jousting Extravaganza last Saturday was the Minister for Culture and External Affairs, Fiona Hyslop MSP.
Ms Hyslop was introduced to some of the event’s ensemble cast of costumed performers, including Ms Branney, before enjoying the jousting contests.
These featured the sensational Knights of Royal England, returning to Linlithgow Palace due to popular demand.
This year’s spectacular historical re-enactments are the first time that the jousting extravaganza has been staged over two successive weekends.
