ByNews reporter
A new app which allows visitors to interact with displays and exhibitions at The McManus.
QuizTrail, which can be played either in the museum or at home, takes the player through a ”themed trail”.
They answer multiple-choice questions and discover more about the artworks and artefacts held in the Dundee attraction.
There is also the chance to win prizes from the gallery gift shop.
The application has been created by the technology firm The Connected Set, who launched their first free QuizTrail game for Tate Britain in London.
It has also been supported by the University of Abertay Dundee’s Prototype Fund.
Jake Cassels, project director at The Connected Set, said: ”Without this funding from Abertay’s Prototype Fund we wouldn’t have been able to produce this game for The McManus.”
The Abertay Prototype Fund is investing in commercially promising digital ideas which cannot find funding elsewhere.
