Drumshademuir Caravan Park near Kirriemuir has been sold in a seven-figure deal following the retiral of the previous owners.
Drumshademuir is a mixed static caravan and touring caravan park, which has been awarded a five-star grading by the Scottish Tourist Board.
The park has been well developed over the last 20 years by previous owners Ian and Pat Easson, and was sold off a guide price of £1.75 million.
The property has been acquired by Stuart and Rachel Dishington, who said they are relishing the challenges ahead.
Richard Moss, director at Colliers International in Edinburgh, who sold the property, said: ”We are continuing to see activity in the holiday parks market which is encouraging. This park benefits from a variety of income streams which has added to the robustness of the business.
”The quality of the park, combined with good management, will ensure the continued popularity of the park for years to come. We would like to wish Stuart and Rachel every success for the future.”
