A speeder who drove dangerously on the A9 in Perthshire has been banned from the road for 12 months.
Susan Morrison was also fined £450 after she admitted hitting 112mph while travelling between Perth and Stirling on July 6 this year.
The 27-year-old first offender, of Pitmaduthy, Invergordon, pled guilty to a charge of driving a car dangerously.
She admitted driving at excessive speed while overtaking slower moving vehicles in lane one and on the approach to numerous crossover points and entrances to the southbound carriageway.
She was spotted and stopped by police officers who were carrying out speed checks on the carriageway.
Depute fiscal Carol Whyte said: ”No other vehicles were forced to take evasive action but there was a potential risk for other vehicles emerging from junctions on to the southbound lane in front of the accused if they were not anticipating someone traveling at such a high speed.”
Morrison’s defence agent said his client was ”ashamed” to be in court.
